At a time when most services were held in private homes, Royce recognised the need for a dedicated space that would ease the burden on grieving families. His vision led to the creation of one of Sydney’s first funeral homes and chapels — a welcoming, respectful environment designed to support families through every step of the farewell.

In 2011, the legacy was entrusted to David Walker — a proud Australian and third-generation funeral professional.
